He must begin life anew as a vampire, fighting his inner desire for death while coming to terms with immortality.
Being changed from a mortal man into a vampire should have been a beneficial turning point in his life, but when his maker Marien takes him out into the city, he quickly discovers that his fiance Ashley, a beautiful vixen with her own supernatural abilities, has arrived in Salem with the hopes of bringing him home with her.
Their reunion is short-lived, however, as Ashley is kidnapped by the Mortiis, a murderous and corrupt religious organization who are devoted to the extermination of all things supernatural. The Mortiis want to use Ashley for one essential task to lure Keith and Marien to an inevitable assassination as part of the Mortiis’ holy cleansing of the world.
Keith must now choose to negotiate his own life for that of his fiance, or risk the death of all that he knows and loves by waging a savage war against a deranged institution that are hell-bent on destroying all things that they deem unholy.

I just loved this book!! I'm the type of person that has to be sucked into a book otherwise I will not continue to read it, and let me just say this book had me from the beginning!! I just loved how the author put every detail about what was happening it made it like a movie playing as I was reading. It fascinated me to how talented this author is i really like that he didn't reach out to all the cliches of other vampire stories. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series it's like a new found obsession =)Product details

Great start to what I think is going to be an amazing novel!! The storyline pulls you in right from the start and keeps you interested throughout the read. Never a dull moment thanks to the passion portrayed from this up and coming Author, Keith Berard. Another plus is the great low price which is nice for those who want to sample this new Author. A must read!! Look forward to the remainder of the series!!
